    Healthwatch Lewisham staff and Enter & View Authorised Representatives carried out a virtual visit on January 2022 over Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions.     The aim of the research was to obtain the views and (LTP) experiences of Lewisham residents to support the local implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan. We carried out local engagement and enabled people including seldom heard communities to have their say in how the NHS can better take care of them and how the care they received can be improved.

    The six Healthwatch in south east London engaged with residents to ensure their voices will help shape the local implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan. The public were asked to give their views on improving local services; share their ideas on how people can live healthier lives and what improvements they think could be made to help people access services quickly.

    On Monday 15 December, Healthwatch Lewisham held its 2nd annual event. Over 110 people attended including over 35 representatives from organisations and community groups, a reflection of the powerful voice Healthwatch Lewisham provides for service users of health and social care locally.

    Between April and October 2014, Healthwatch Lewisham has engaged with a variety of service users, carers, community and voluntary sector groups and staff, as well as the local residents in Lewisham to listen to their experiences of enablement and integrated care.
