Healthwatch Lewisham is joining the University Hospital Lewisham for Dementia Action week on Tuesday, May 20 from 2-4 pm. Come to our stall and talk to us.

In collaboration with Age UK, the Alzheimer's Society is hosting various events through the week to promote awareness about dementia and how to get help.

Healthwatch Lewisham staff and Enter & View Authorised Representatives carried out a visit in September 2024, to Alexander Care Home in Ladywell. Operated by HC-One Ltd., the home specialises in residential care for older people with dementia. It also provides specialist care for long-term health conditions, including diabetes and heart disease.

Since 2020, the landscape of ophthalmology provision within South East London has changed – with an increased NHS service offering from Independent Sector Providers. SEL ICB are seeking feedback from persons with lived experience about their care pathway within Independent Sector Providers. As such, the ICB has put together an ophthalmology survey for those who have had a procedure at a South East London Independent Sector Provider in the past year. This includes SpaMedica, Community Health and Eyecare and Circle Health Group.
