Woodham House Stanstead

Report - 3 September 2026

Our March visit to Woodham House Stanstead allowed us to hear directly from residents, their families and staff about life at the care home. Healthwatch Lewisham staff and Enter & View Authorised Representatives listened to their experiences of the care and support provided, with a focus on understanding what works well and where further improvements may be needed.

Healthwatch Lewisham staff and Enter & View Authorised Representatives carried out a visit in  February, 2023, to the Wharton Ward of the Ladywell Unit, based at University Hospital Lewisham. It provides services to women ages 18-65, with acute psychiatric illness. During the visit we talked to service users, staff, and management.
