Q4 Patient Experience Report 2022/23

We engaged with 640 Lewisham residents between January and March 2023 to understand what they felt worked well and what could be improved about their health and social care services.

This is what they told us.

Patients continue to praise health professionals at their GP practices when they are able to speak to them. Access to appointments remains the biggest challenge with people frustrated at the lack of suitable appointments. 

Experiences of hospital services were mixed with staff attitudes and treatment being positively singled out but issues remain with long waiting times at A&E and the Outpatients department.
