Expression of Interest (EOI) – Seeking partner for Evaluation of Lewisham Frailty Pilot

Frailty has been identified by Lewisham’s Health and Care Partners as an area for specific focus for integrated delivery.

A new approach to frailty is now being piloted, building on an existing project by The Lewisham Care Partnership Primary Care Network (TLCP PCN). The pilot will test a proactive approach to identifying those frail patients most at risk of deterioration and requiring a multi-disciplinary response.

Lewisham’s Health and Care Partners are now seeking a partner to evaluate the impact of the pilot.

The Evaluation Partner will be expected to provide an independent and objective assessment of the performance and impact of the pilot. Applicants are expected to detail their:

  • relevant knowledge and experience of health and social care,
  • experience of impact measurement,
  • relevant research methodology.

The project will start in April and will run for 9 months. The evaluation period will run from May 2022 until January 2023.

Research Project on Trans+ Health Service Experiences in Lewisham

National and local efforts have afforded increased attention to LGBTQ+ health and well-being, but this research often emphasises those identifying as gay/lesbian or bisexual, excluding those identifying as trans or non-binary.

We want to capture the experiences of our trans community members in Lewisham by asking them questions about their interactions with mental health, sexual health, GP services, and other health services. All interviews will be conducted by members of the trans community.

To be considered, you should identify as trans or non-binary and either live in the borough, or access health services in the borough. You will receive £20 for your time. With recent funding, we are looking for spaces to conduct the interviews as well as open to anyone who would like to get involved in the research project.
